Articles by Ben O'Connor

Benjamin O'Connor graduated in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins college in 2007. Having studied Art Criticism under Libby Anson, previous editor of A-N Magazine and Author of 'The A-Z of Art', his interest in the field of criticism and curation began to develop into a desire to write alongside his work. Currently Benjamin is a practicing multimedia Artist working in film and video, mixed media collage and performance. His writing and video work, around the subject of Gender, have inspired numerous drag performances, and other forms of live art, that try to challenge Gender norms and question the inherent binary Gender system in society.
