Are Dolce & Gabbana And Steven Klein Sending Us a Secret Message?

Submitted by Mario Davies on July 1, 2009 – 1:00 amNo Comment

Steven Klein known for his dark and intriguing photo shoots for Dolce & Gabbana is taking us once again on a new journey with their Fall 2009 signature advertisement. Pictures color, style and theme can no longer be mistaken and attributed to someone else but Dolce & Gabbana.

This time the journey takes you into the neon lit streets of Las Vegas, into the depth of majestic casinos, where apathy and blood rush are walking hand-in-hand; big stakes are shaping human life to produce only two products – the winners and the losers.

But wait.. there’s something more – a slight glimpse of controversy, perhaps even a well hidden intrigue? The players in all their fashion glamour and chic are reminding us of orthodox catholic sisters. It almost feels like they have left the world of Doubt and evolved in their integration in the modern daring society.

Something feels not right and the secret meaning remains hidden from most of us, only a little detail brings a distant memory teasing us, and fuelling our imagination. The black head bow remains, as like it reminds us, that there are things that never change and are going to guide us most of our life. But the secret meaning remains hidden from most of us, only a little detail reminds and teases us, fuelling our imagination and fantasy.

Is there a secret? Can you see and feel it?
